Evan Michael Green – These Words

(From: Soundcloud.com)

Evan Michael Green is an American singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and self-taught producer. A 2014 graduate of Berklee College of Music, Evan decided to put his business degree away in late 2015 in favor of spending sleepless nights at the studio cranking out covers by his favorite artists. His solo work and collaboration with Young L3x on the singles “Drown” and “Couldn’t Say No” quickly amassed close to a million views on Facebook and YouTube and helped him garner thousands of fans across a variety of social media platforms. In 2016, he released the single, “Wake Up Mary Please” and an accompanying video, which is still drawing new fans into its mesmerizing orbit. He recently moved to Los Angeles after living in his car for six months in Boston. During this nomadic time, Evan’s work ethic was tireless; new music poured out of him in the studio, and he played shows at every possible opportunity while documenting his travels up and down the East Coast.

Evan’s dynamic and personal debut EP is a striking combination of playful melodies, ironic wordplay and powerful underlying themes inspired by his own romantic struggles and relentless motivation for success. The acoustic ballad “Nice Voice” showcases his command of melody while offering a harsh yet honest perspective on modern relationships. Booming, bass-heavy tracks “Suspect” and “The Right Thing” prove the artist’s fearlessness at unleashing fierce, complex emotions through well-crafted, intricately-produced songs. Featuring sensual rhythm, deeply personal lyrics, and unparalleled falsetto, the hotly-anticipated project is inspired by Sam Smith, Frank Ocean and The Weeknd and will be released in 2017.

Emerging r&b artist has just released the video for his latest single “These Words”.

The new visual comes along with the release of his anticipated EP “All The Things That I Am” which is also out now (listen below). He releases the project via his own Los Angeles based label and production company “Ten Sixty-Seven”.

The label was founded this year while Green was living in his car, and working around the clock to bring his music career to fruition. Subsequently the phrase “10 hours a day, 6 days a week, 7th day we rest, motto for success” became the company’s mantra and echoed its core values; it also gave birth to the label’s name: Ten Sixty-Seven.

Having graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2014 with a degree in Music Business and Marketing, Green felt launching his own label was a natural step to take that would allow him the freedom to be self-sufficient and in creative control of all aspects of his music. As such, the label is responsible for all of Green’s merchandising, branding and recordings.

As both an artist and businessman, he understands the multifaceted aspects of the music industry from two very different viewpoints. Ten Sixty-Seven prides itself on understanding the ideals of the artist, management, and production alike. His EP All The Things That I Am is the first release from Ten Sixty-Seven, stay tuned for more content from !
