Originally released exclusively to Tidal, “The Story Of OJ” is an intricate animated video inspired by racism. The Jay-Z and Mark Romanek directed visual is extremely creative and tells a unique story.
We find a cartoon-version Jay as many different characters in what seems like a pre-1960s era, when racism was much more in your face than it is today. With segregated seating on buses, and depictions of slaves the video is undoubtedly a commentary on the way the world is still working today.
